Is HeadOn® safe to use?
HeadOn® is one of the safest medications available on the market today. It can be used by anyone and as often as needed. There are no dosage restrictions or health risks associated with its use. See Drug Facts on product package.
What are the active Ingredients in HeadOn® Products?
You can see each of the ingredients in HeadOn® listed in the Drug Facts of the product packaging. The active ingredients in the different HeadOn® products are:
• Bryonia Alba (White Bryony) 12X H.P.U.S.
• Iris Versicolor (Blue Flag) 12X H.P.U.S.
• Kali Bichromicum (Potassium Bichromate) 6X H.P.U.S.
• Hydrastis Canadensis (Golden Seal) 30X H.P.U.S.
Each ingredient is followed by a number and then an "X" (such as 6X, 12X or 30X), what does that mean?
The number and the "X" which follows the name of the active ingredient identifies the dilution of each active ingredient. For instance, 6X means that the ingredient has been diluted one part per million parts of water. The monograph of each active ingredient in the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States states the dilution at which the ingredient is safe and effective. The active ingredients in HeadOn® are diluted as specified by the monograph of the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States and therefore represent no health risk whatsoever.
Why is this "dilution" important?
The dilution is of great importance to the effectiveness and the safety of the product. Countless drugs which are vital to our health system are dangerous in high doses but save lives in lower doses. The active ingredients in HeadOn® are diluted precisely to achieve 2 important results: the first is to eliminate any safety concerns associated with their usage. The second is that by diluting these ingredients, their medicinal properties are released.
The dilution of the ingredient is what the monograph dictates as a safe and effective dilution for the particular ingredient.
To summarize, the active ingredients in HeadOn® are found in a dosage that presents absolutely no health risk whatsoever. In fact they are in full conformity with the regulations set forth for their usage as medicinal substances.
What do the letters H.P.U.S. mean?
You will notice the letters H.P.U.S. next to each active ingredient. The letters can only be placed at the end of the ingredient name if it is officially monographed in the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States, which is the legal source for these drug products in Federal law.
What does it mean that they are "Officially monographed"?
In the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States, each Active Ingredient has an official monograph which means that the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia Convention of the United States has determined that sufficient evidence exists to state that they are safe and effective within the dilutions of their respective monograph. The active ingredients in HeadOn® are officially monographed and have therefore been determined to be safe and effective by the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia Convention of the United States.
